“Freedom of belief is more important than freedom of expression,” said Ashraf Ibrahim, 34, who was at Tuesday’s protest.

Unfortunately “freedom of belief” seems to be narrowly restricted to Islam in Egypt. A true “freedom of belief” allows for more than one belief system.

This is a disturbing blow for any hope of a true Egyptian democracy.
